Where Nature’s Beauty Blossoms

Welcome to Sycamore Tree Farm & Flower

Nature produces such beautiful things. Bird song, sunsets, snowflakes, flowers. Here at Sycamore Tree Farm & Flower, we celebrate nature and all its beauty. We are honored to be a part of growing and caring for a small part of that beauty as we grow fresh flowers and delicious produce. It’s our mission to share that beauty with you. Whether displayed on your kitchen table or given as a gift, our flowers (all flowers) have the power to bring warmth and joy into a room, to transform everyday moments into special events, to bring mindfulness and well-being.

We believe that both people and plants do best with love, fresh air, clean water, and as few added chemicals as possible.

We invite you to come see what we’re about and enjoy what we grow.

Our Sycamore Tree

Our three-acre farm is anchored by a magnificent 100-plus-year-old Sycamore Tree. More than 20 feet around, she stands at the corner of our house spreading her enormous arms wide, offering shade and protection all year long.

Throughout American folklore, the sycamore tree is found in stories of protection and healing often bringing blessings to the household they are planted nearby. Sycamore’s broad, spreading branches serve as a symbol of hospitality and community offering shelter and solace to weary travelers.  In Native American stories, the sycamore tree is associated with resilience, strength, and endurance. They were often regarded as sacred trees serving as guardians of the natural world.

We feel so lucky to have this ancient beauty growing on our farm and happy to have her as our namesake.

MEET THE OWNER

I’m Katie, owner of Sycamore Tree Farm & Flower. There is not much I love more than planting something in the ground and watching it grow.  When I look at the natural world, I see so much beauty and balance. I’m grateful for the chance to share some of that beauty and goodness with my community through the things that I grow.

OUR FLOWERS

Each Saturday, from mid-May until mid-October, we sell our flowers at the Culver Farmers Market (Culvers Town Park, west Pavillion, 819 E Lake Shore Drive, Culver, IN 46511).
